In some major news, construction on the TRON coaster-style attraction at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom will affect two other major attractions: the Walt Disney World Railroad and The Tomorrowland Speedway. As reported by Disney Food Blog, the train will not be giving tours around the park starting December 2018. However, the Magic Kingdom will provide the option for guests to “take advantage of one-of-a-kind photo opportunities” and to get a closer look at the railroad at Main Street Station. As for The Tomorrowland Speedway, it will be closed for part of 2019 and will reopen next summer. TRON is expected to open in 2021, just in time for Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
