1. Character Dining Is Coming To Wilderness Lodge
There is a brand new Character Dining experience coming to Disney’s Wilderness Lodge this winter. Storybook Dining at Artist Point is inspired by Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and will offer a prix fixe menu. You’ll also be able to meet Snow White, Dopey, Grumpy, and even The Evil Queen.

3. Disneyland Will Soon Sell Alcohol For The First Time Ever
Here’s some exciting news for both Disney World and Disneyland! Oga’s Cantina is set to open in 2019 when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at both Disney parks next year. Major details were revealed on Aug. 30 about the establishment, including how RX-24, the former StarSpeeder 3000 pilot droid guests first met in Star Tours will serve as the cantina’s official DJ. Oh, and Oga’s Cantina will serve alcohol, making this the first time ever that alcoholic beverages will be served to guests in Disneyland, outside of Club 33.
4. Part Of The Tropical Hideaway Menu Is Here
According to WDW News Today, a portion of the menu for Disneyland’s The Tropical Hideaway set to open in Adventureland later this year was revealed this week. There will be three different kinds of Bao buns (Spiced Vegetable Bao, Kaffir Lime Chicken Bao, and Bulgogi Beef Bao). Oh, and guess what? There will be Lumpia, the popular pineapple and cream cheese snack, which originated at Pandora: The World of Avatar.
5. Take A Minnie Van To & From MCO
Minnie Vans will now take guests staying at any Disney World resort to and from the Orlando International Airport. However, rather than requesting car service through the Lyft app like usual, Minnie Vans airport shuttle reservations have to be booked by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. Shuttle service hours are for flight arrivals 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and for flight departures 9 a.m. to 12 a.m.
6. 3 More Disneyland Locations Acquiring Mobile Ordering
Mobile Ordering will soon be available at three more locations across the two parks. Currently, guests can use Mobile Ordering at Disney California Adventure’s Bayside Brews and Disneyland’s Harbour Galley and Tiki Juice Bar. Next month, Mobile Ordering will expand to Edelweiss Snacks, Stage Door Café, Refreshment Corner, and Royal Street Veranda, all located at Disneyland.
7. A Giraffe Calf Joins Kilimanjaro Safaris
As you can watch below, there is a giraffe calf, Aella, who is now part of Animal Kingdom’s Kilimanjaro Safaris. She’s a two-month-old Masai giraffe calf, who was born on June 29. Isn’t she the sweetest?
8. You Can Order Pumpkin Spice Beignets
Whoa. Pumpkin Spice Beignets are being served at Port Orleans French Quarter. As reported by Chip and Co., Mickey-shaped Pumpkin Spice Beignets are currently available for purchase at Sassagoula Float Works and Food Factory. You can order three beignets for $4.49 or six for $6.99.
