On Nov. 18, 2018, Mickey Mouse officially turns 90. Can you believe it’s been 90 years since Walt Disney’s creation of the most famous mouse came to life? Like Walt Disney once declared, “I only hope that we never lose sight of one thing — that it was all started by a mouse.”

Well, no one has. Mickey made his big-screen debut in Steamboat Willie on Nov. 18, 1928 and ever since then he hasn’t been able to escape the spotlight or the love of fans. Since 90 is a major milestone, there will be all kinds of celebrations in honor of him, including special events across all Disney parks.

There are many ways Mickey’s 90th anniversary is being celebrated, so I’ve compiled a detailed list of the events, the merchandise, the food, and everything else dedicated to Mickey’s special day. Hopefully, this way, you’ll be able to keep up with how the most famous mouse around is being honored.

1. World’s Biggest Mouse Party

Most importantly, there is the limited-time World’s Biggest Mouse Party. Disney parks across the globe will celebrate Mickey Mouse. Head on over to the Disney Parks Blog to see what Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Shanghai Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo Disney Resort, and Disneyland Paris have planned.

2. A Two-Hour Special On ABC

You better mark your calendar, because on Sunday, Nov. 4 at 8 p.m. EST, Mickey’s 90th Spectacular will air on ABC. There will be “musical performances, moving tributes, and rare short films never before seen by the public.”

On Sept. 28, Deadline announced special celebrity guests and performers for the celebration. They include Frozen star Kristen Bell, Modern Family actor Sarah Hyland, Veep’s Tony Hale, and Sofia Carson from Disney’s Descendants. Josh Groban, K-pop band NCT 127, Leslie Odom Jr., Meghan Trainer, and Zac Brown Band are all slated to perform. Odom, Trainor, and Zac Brown Band will honor Mickey by singing Disney classics. Odom will sing “When You Wish Upon A Star,” Trainor will sing “You’ve Got A Friend In Me,” and Zac Brown Band will sing a version of “Bare Necessities.” Walt Disney Company Chairman and CEO Bob Iger will also make a special appearance.

ABC announced on Oct. 5 more celebrities joining the spectacular. They include: Skylar Astin and Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect), singer Kelsea Ballerini, Miles Brown (black-ish), Josh Gad (Frozen), Wendi McLendon-Covey (The Goldbergs), and Sage Steele (SportsCenter). There will also be more musical performances by Luis Fonsi and Tori Kelly. If that isn’t enough, Bob Burgess and Sharon Baird from the original Mickey Mouse Club will also make a special appearance.

Oh, and check out Minnie’s fancy new dress she’ll be wearing during the special that was designed by Diane von Furstenberg!
