Every week I gather the latest news from Walt Disney World and Disneyland to help you keep up with all of the changes. Here is the most recent Disney news for the week of Sept. 10-Sept. 16, 2018:

1. ‘Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It!’ Is Reportedly Ending

According to WDW News Today, the Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is coming to an end.  Per sources who spoke with the website, the final street party will be on Dec. 1, 2018 and a new dance party is reportedly beginning in early 2019. Disney has not made an official announcement regarding the daily parade.

2. New Minnie Van Prices Are Officially Set & On The Rise

Last week it was reported that Disney World’s Minnie Van transportation service might be getting a new pricing system and now it looks like the new prices are in effect. Rather than the original $25 flat rate, guests will be charged a $15 base price plus a per mile charge of $2.75, according to WDW News Today.

3. Tea Experience Now Available At Rose & Crown

Disney World announced this week announced the Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room Tea Experience. Guests will now have the chance to learn the difference between blends and the secret to making a great cup of tea from a Twinings-trained Cast Member. It costs $30 per person and begins at 9:45 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The experience also includes sandwiches and scones.

4. Earl of Sandwich Is Reopening At Disneyland

As revealed by the Disney Parks Blog, Earl of Sandwich is reopening at its original location for a limited time at Downton Disney. An official reopening date has yet to be announced.

5. Mickey & Minnie Ears Go Up In Price

If you’re looking for a new pair of Disney ears, get ready to pay more. WDW News Today reported that at both Disney World and Disneyland, Mickey and Minnie ears now cost $27.99 compared to the old price of $24.99. Plus, bubble wands have seen a two-dollar increase to $27 and misting fans are now $22, rather than $20.

6. A Huge Lunch Discount For Annual Passholders

Now through the end of the year, Annual Passholders who want to dine at either Maria & Enzo’s or Enzo’s Hideaway Tunnel Bar (both at Disney Springs) will receive a 40 percent discount on lunch. That’s huge, so definitely take advantage of the perk!

7. Get Ready For A ‘Wreck-It-Ralph’ Hyper-Reality Experience

A new hyper-reality experience is on its way. Per the Disney Parks Blog, Ralph Breaks VR is coming thanks to ILMxLAB and The VOID at both Disney Springs at Disney World and Downtown Disney at Disneyland. “Beginning this fall, Ralph Breaks VR will put you inside a new multi-sensory Disney adventure where you’ll be immersed in the worlds of the internet and online gaming with Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope,” the Disney Parks Blog press release explained. The experience will debut sometime in Fall 2018.

8. Get $1 Coffee From Joffrey’s Very Soon

Here is some exciting news for coffee lovers. Per Disney Food Blog, on National Coffee Day this year (Sept. 29), Disney World guests can get either a 16 oz. cup of hot coffee or a 24 oz. cup of iced coffee for just $1 at any Joffrey’s location across the parks.
