4-Park Magic Tickets Offered At Disney World & Other Disney News This Week

Every week I gather the latest news from Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, and other Disney parks to help you keep up with all of the changes. Here is the most recent Disney news for the week of Dec. 17-Dec. 23, 2018:

1. The New 4-Park Magic Ticket Deal

This new Disney World ticket deal is something you should definitely think about, because it’s actually a really affordable package. For $85 per day (plus tax) or for a total of $340 (plus tax), you can get the 4-Park Magic Value Ticket.

This means you’ll have one day of admission to Magic Kingdom, one day of admission to Epcot, one day of admission to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and one day of admission to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which equals a total of four admissions over four separate days. Basically, you’ll have access to one theme park per day and the tickets can only be used to enter each them park once. The 4-Park Magic Value Ticket deal can be purchased starting on Jan. 18, 2019 and the tickets are only valid for admission from Jan. 18-March 1, 2019.  Also, the tickets must be used within seven days of first use or by March 1, 2019, whichever comes first.

There are also two additional 4-Park Magic Tickets available for a higher price and that may be used on select dates through Sept. 30, 2019. These include the Select package ($89 per day, plus tax; $356 total, plus tax) and the Summer package ($95 per day, plus tax; $380 total, plus tax). For all of the details, visit the official 4-Park Magic Tickets website.

2. There’s A New Glow Prop At WDW

For those who’ve visited Disney World before, then you know there are all kinds of Magic Shots located across the parks, where you can pose with characters and props. There are even many glow props at the parks, including a lantern from Tangled and a light-up lantern with Tinker Bell, both located at Magic Kingdom. Well, there is a new glow prop you might not be aware of: a colorful light-up lantern in the Morocco Pavilion at Epcot. It’s beautiful and looks like it’d make for a great photo souvenir!

3. Storybook Dining Is Officially Open

In September, Disney announced a new character dining experience coming to Artist Point at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge in December: Storybook Dining. Well, Storybook Dining with Snow White, the Evil Queen, Grumpy, and Dopey is officially open for business. Based on the many photos, videos, and reviews (check out Kim Button’s thorough review over at KimandCarrie.com) so far, it looks like a character dining experience everyone needs to make a reservation for!
