I visited the 2020 Epcot International Festival of the Arts for the first time on Feb. 14, 2020. It was such a fun festival with so many unique artful experiences. Of course, there were also some amazing Festival of the Arts treats that I just had to try.
This particular festival is all about celebrating visual, performing, and culinary arts. Between the food, the entertainment, the artists, the photo opportunities, the merchandise, and so much more, Festival of the Arts is a great experience.
One of the many perks of an Epcot festival is all of the different kitchens and the food and beverage options. I walked away with several favorites.
This year’s festival runs through Feb. 24, so if you haven’t tasted any of the following, be sure you do so stat!
1. This Cheese & Bread Goodness
Booth: L’Art de la Cuisine Française
Location: France Pavilion
Price: $7.75 (counts as Disney Dining Plan snack credit)
If you love cheese and bread, then this dish is an absolute must. It is described as a “warm creamy brie in a house-made bread bowl” and it is exactly that. My tastebuds were extremely happy with this cheese-filled bread bowl. It was warm, creamy, and just downright delicious.
2. A Classy Pop Tart
Booth: Pop Eats!
Location: Showplace Plaza, near Disney Traders
Price: $4.50 (counts as a Disney Dining Plan snack credit)
This Pop’t Art is said to be a “modern-designed sugar cookie with strawberry filling,” but, really, it’s just a fancy Disney pop tart. It was soft and just the right amount of sweet. Now, mine could have been served warmer, so make sure to ask for a nice, warm Pop’t Art.
3. The Perfect Frozen Martini
Booth: L’Art de la Cuisine Française
Location: France Pavilion
Price: $14
If you love a good cocktail, then you need to purchase this Frozen French Martini. WOW. Yes, it was that amazing. It has Grey Goose Vodka and Chambord liqueur, along with pineapple, orange, and grape juice. But, what might even be the best part of the drink is the lemon-lime foam on the top. I’m not a huge cocktail person (I prefer beer), but this definitely wowed me.
4. A Peanut Butter Fan’s Dream
Location: Sunshine Seasons in The Land Pavilion
Price: $5.99
This dessert is absolute heaven. It’s listed on the menu as a specialty “cupcake,” but I found it more to be like a small piece of cake, especially since it didn’t come with a wrapper. Whatever the case, it’s still perfection. It is vanilla cake lathered with peanut butter buttercream frosting. Need I say more? It melted in my mouth and was all-around fantastic. If you love peanut butter, this is definitely worth the money.
What have been some of your favorite treats from this year’s Festival of the Arts?
