Today is not the best day, even though it should be. It’s my brother’s birthday, but, sadly, he’s not here to celebrate.

For those unaware, my brother, Ryan, died when he was 16. He would’ve turned 37 today, which is so hard to believe. One of the reasons Disney means so much to my family is because we made so many memories there with my brother. It also serves as an escape for us, especially during harder times. That’s why we always go in June, the month he died. It’s been almost 21 years since his death and it never gets any easier.

[insert all of the happy tears] 😭😭😭I always take the Magical Express.🚍It’s a complimentary form of transportation provided by Disney and it’s the perfect way to start a trip.💫 Though, boarding it when it becomes the Tragical Express is the worst. No one wants to hop on when a trip is over.
