Oct. 1, 2021: Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and new table and quick-service restaurant La Creperie de Paris will open in EPCOT’s France pavilion.

Oct. 14, 2021: Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside reopens (currently accepting bookings)

Oct. 28, 2021: Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — French Quarter reopens (currently accepting bookings)

Nov. 8: Disney Very Merriest Afters Hours starts (in place of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party)

Nov. 12: Holidays officially begin at Walt Disney World

Dec. 9, 2021: Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort reopens (currently accepting bookings)

Refurbishments & Closures

Now-TBD: Walt Disney World Railroad in Magic Kingdom is closed for refurbishment.

Now-TBD: Main Street Confectionery is closed for refurbishment. You can find treats at the Main Street Cinema.

Now-TBD: The Chapeau is closed until further notice. You can browse ears and hats at Box Office Gifts at the Town Square Theater on Main Street, U.S.A. and find artwork and other items at Bonjour! Village Gifts in Fantasyland.

Now-Fall 2021: Guest rooms in the Main Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort are currently under refurbishment being transformed into Incredibles-themed rooms.

Starting July 16, most of the first-floor lobby will be closed, but many guests services will still be available (elevators, restrooms, bus transportation, pathways to Convention Center). The front desk will temporarily locate to the second floor.

As previously announced, The Wave… of American Flavors and The Wave Lounge at the Contemporary will close in summer 2021 as the restaurant undergoes refurbishment “for a reimagined dining experience.”

Reservations for The Wave will be available through July 15. During the closure, you will still be able to enjoy The Wave’s breakfast for a limited time — at the California Grill. You must make reservations through The Wave, not California Grill.

Oct. 11-Nov. 11, 2021: Mickey’s PhilharMagic is closed for refurbishment before reopening on Nov. 12 with the new Coco scene and a new digital projection system

Nov. 1, 2021-Mid-December 2021: Kali River Rapids is closed for refurbishment

Jan. 4, 2022-Mid-April 2022: Expedition Everest is closed for refurbishment.

Jan. 23-28, 2022: The Disney Skyliner will close between the International Gateway, Disney’s Riviera Resort, and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. Guests will still be able to use Disney bus transportation and FriendShip boat service during this time.

January 20, 2022-April 2022: The Samawati Springs Pool will close for refurbishment at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas. Guests can use the Uzima Springs Pool at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge/Jambo House.

January 2022-April 2023: The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool at Fort Wilderness will be unavailable. Guests staying at Fort Wilderness can use the Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool.

Winter 2023: The Contemporary Feature Pool will be unavailable. Guests staying at Contemporary can use the leisure Bay Pool.
